Sunday Drive

Today was a day of rest & relaxation.....

My roommate Sabina & I went for a drive from Nowy Targ to Ochotinca through Tymanowa to Szczawnica. Below are some of those scenes. I hope that you enjoy the "ride"

Thank You Denise for sharing your beautiful pictures. I am glad you and Sabina had a time of rest and refreshment.

I am part of the congregation you spoke to while traveling back to the US at the Des Moines Four Square Church. GOD has put it on my heart to pray for you & your ministry in Poland.

Now, I have made commitments to prayer regularly in the past and have had difficulty following thru so I have fear of failure scripts running thru my mind even as I am typing this.

Today I was reading the book of Esther and at the part where Esther is expressing her fear and relucantance to go before King Xerxes to plead for her people. Her uncle Mordecai tells her that God will save and protect his chosen people whether Esther answers this call or not ~ HE can raise someone else to help them ~ but that by turning down this opportunity Esther was risking her own growth and maybe even her life!

I felt the Holy Spirit was telling me that whether or not I was fearful to answer the call to prayer for you that GOD would continue to bless your ministry but that I would be missing out on a growth opportunity because I was listening to the spirit of fear (which is NOT from GOD) rather than his loving spirit.

So what I am trying to say in my rambling way is Thank You for your ministry. I believe the word I had from GOD today is in part to encourage you as a reminder you are under HIS blessing and protection (as his people in a forgien land where in the book of Esther). And I believe your ministry is going to be a blessing to me here in SeaTac, WA because GOD is going to use it to help me take my prayer-life to the next level.

I have seen your requests for prayers for your ministry and for the people of Poland at the Four Square Missions site. If you have any specific prayer requests please feel free to e-mail them to me. I will also check your blog regularly.

Thank You Denise!

Denise, that looks like stunningly beautiful countryside. Reminds me of pics of England that I've seen. Glad you had a good day of rest. It's a pleasure that's hard to come by sometimes. Karen
